Born from experience, built out of necessity.
I was always on the move when I worked in Corporate. Dressed up, high heels on, feeling confident in a beautiful outfit. But the work bag I carried never matched that feeling. It was bulky, heavy, and masculine, like it belonged to someone else.
Stylish alternatives weren’t any better. They were too small, not functional, poor in quality, or simply not designed for real life. For a long time, I made it work: two bags, sore shoulders, and a quiet frustration.
And I knew I wasn’t the only one. I saw it everywhere. Women balancing work, travel, family, and everything in between, all carrying bags that didn’t reflect who they were.
So I decided to create something better. Bags that are strong in function, yet feel effortless and feminine. Bags that look beautiful, but are made for real, everyday life.

Building What I Couldn't Find
I started Maison Velours to create something I couldn’t find myself.
A bag that felt like me: Feminine, functional, and effortlessly put together. Something I would have been proud to carry from day one, and that still supports me in everything I do today. Because a bag should not only look beautiful, it should make your day easier.

Our Design Philosophy
We design bags that are elegant enough to elevate your look and practical enough to handle your day. From extra screens to lunch boxess, we know what you actually carry, so we made space for it without adding bulk or weight.
I’ve always been obsessed with bags. I used to collect vintage Louis Vuitton, but my all-time favourite was the velvet Gucci Marmont. That texture, that quiet luxury. It stuck with me. It inspired me to combine rich velvet with durable vegan leather and create something soft, structured, and truly different.
Our signature mix reflects everything we believe in: soft strength, subtle luxury, and smart design that works. We spent months sourcing the highest quality velvet we could find, because if you carry it every day, it should feel as good as it looks.
